Web Design for Cleaning Companies Get the diary full of regulars.

Websites and marketing for cleaning companies that are good at the job and ready for more of it. Built for phones, set up to rank in the towns you cover, and looked after by me once it's live.

A cleaning company website that keeps the diary full

Someone looking for a cleaner searches "cleaner near me" or "end of tenancy cleaning" with their town, looks at the three businesses on the map, taps through on their phone and messages whoever makes it easiest to get a price. If your site is slow or the quote button is hard to find, they've moved on before they see how good your work is.

Word of mouth keeps a diary going for a while. Then a couple of regulars move house, and the gaps are harder to fill. A website and Google profile that bring in new enquiries every week is what fills them.

A real result

Beth runs Our Cleaning Company in Aylesbury. After I rebuilt her website and set up her Google profile she got 21 Google reviews in two weeks, and she's since taken on extra staff to keep up.

See what I built for her

I'm Jak, based in Stewkley. I build websites for cleaning companies myself, set up your Google profile to match and look after both once they're live. The website is yours at the end, and monthly payment options are there if that's easier.

Who it's for

Built around the cleaning you do

A domestic cleaner and an office cleaning firm need different websites, because different people are searching for them. This is how I'd shape a cleaning company website for each.

  • Domestic cleaners

Weekly and fortnightly cleans, where trust wins the job. Your team's faces and your Google reviews do most of the selling, with a short form to ask for a price.

  • Commercial and office cleaners

Contracts are won on reliability and paperwork. A page for each type of premises, your insurance and accreditations up front, and a callback form for the facilities manager who wants a site visit.

  • End of tenancy cleaners

Landlords, letting agents and tenants on a deadline. Fixed prices by property size, available dates, and your deposit-back promise if you offer one.

  • Carpet and upholstery cleaners

Before and after photos are the whole pitch, so the gallery sits high on the page, with prices per room or per sofa.

  • Window and exterior cleaners

Round sign-ups, postcode checks and regular payments. These have their own pages: websites for window cleaners and websites for driveway cleaners.

What I build

What a cleaning company website needs

  • 01

    A quick quote form

Property size, how often and a postcode. Short enough to fill in on a phone while the kettle boils.

  • 02

A quote button that stays put

A bar along the bottom of the screen on phones, so asking for a price is always one tap away.

  • 03

    Trust up front

You're going into people's homes. DBS checks, insurance and your Google reviews sit near the top, where people look first.

  • 04

A page for each type of clean

Regular, deep, end of tenancy, office. Each one gets its own page, because each one is a different search.

  • 05

    The towns you cover

Pages for the towns you want more work in, with real detail about the jobs you do there.

  • 06

    Photos of your team

Customers want to see who's turning up. Real photos of you and your team, and I can take them for you.

Not sure what your site is missing? I'll go through it with you and tell you what I'd fix first.

Beth had given up on her old website. I rebuilt it for phones, set up her Google Business Profile for Aylesbury and the towns around it, and now look after both on a care plan. Her only job was sending photos.

Google Business Profile

Your Google profile matters as much as the website

Most people find a cleaner in the map results, before they ever see a website. Your main category is one of the biggest things Google uses to decide which searches you appear in, so it's the first thing I check.

I set Beth's profile up for Aylesbury and the towns around it, and it now ranks well when people there search for cleaners.

Categories I'd set up

  • House cleaning serviceMain
  • Commercial cleaning service
  • Carpet cleaning service
  • Window cleaning service
  • Janitorial service

Searches it should show up for

Only the categories that match work you actually do. Picking extras to appear in more searches tends to backfire.

“I'd tell other cleaners that if they don't work with you, they'd be missing out.”

How much does a cleaning company website cost?

Every website is quoted to your business after a free call, so you know the exact price before anything starts. Cleaning company websites start from £899, and most cleaning companies go for a premium site from £1,599, which adds your Google profile and pages for the towns you cover. You can pay half to start and half before launch, or spread the cost monthly.

How long does it take?

Most cleaning websites take 1 to 3 weeks from the first call. I'll give you a date on the call, and the main thing that speeds it up is getting your photos and prices over early.

Can customers get a price on the website?

Yes. I build the quote form around how you price, whether that's by bedrooms, by the hour or by the job. If you'd rather speak to everyone first, it can just collect their details and you call them back.

Can people book regular cleans online?

If you already use booking software, I'll link it into the site. If you don't, a quote form is usually the better place to start, and we can add booking later.

I cover several towns. Can I show up in all of them?

Your Google profile ranks mostly around your own address. For towns further out, pages on your website do the work, so I build one for each town you want more jobs in.

How do I get more Google reviews?

I set up a review request that goes to customers after a clean, plus a QR code for your cards and flyers. Beth picked up 21 reviews in two weeks this way.

Do I need my own photos?

They help a lot, because people want to see who's coming into their home. If you don't have any, I can come out and take them.

Do you only work with cleaners near Milton Keynes?

No. I meet cleaning companies in person around Milton Keynes, Beds and Bucks, and work with cleaners anywhere in the UK over video calls.
