Web Design for Mechanics and Garages Keep the ramps busy.
Websites and marketing for independent garages and mechanics. Built so drivers nearby find you, trust you and book their MOT or repair without ringing round.

A garage website drivers trust before they pick up the phone
When a warning light comes on, most people search "garage near me" or "MOT near me" and look at the map. They check your reviews, how long you've been going and whether they can book in without a fuss. A dated website, or one with a "Not secure" warning, puts them off before they call.
Most independent garages do well from regulars, but new customers find you through Google. A garage that runs on trust needs a website that earns it in the first few seconds.
MH Auto Services has been fixing cars in Milton Keynes for 40 years, but browsers were warning every visitor that its old website was "Not secure". I rebuilt it, secure and built for phones, with those 40 years front and centre.
See the new websiteI'm Jak, based in Stewkley. I build websites for garages and mechanics myself, set up your Google profile to match and look after both once they're live. The website is yours at the end, and monthly payment options are there if that's easier.
Send me your website or Google listing and I'll tell you for free what would bring in more work.

An MOT centre, a bodyshop and a mobile mechanic get different enquiries from different people, so each needs its own kind of site.
Independent garages
Servicing, repairs and MOTs under one roof. A page for each, your years in business up front, and reviews that mention real jobs.
MOT centres
People want a date and a price. A clear MOT price, your opening hours and a simple way to book or call.
Specialists
Diagnostics, classics, air-cooled VWs, performance or a single make. A specialist page brings in people prepared to travel to you.
Bodyshops
Crash repairs, paintwork and insurance work. Before and after photos, and a way to send pictures of the damage for a quote.
Mobile mechanics
Your van is the garage. The areas you cover, call-out times and a big call button for people stuck on a driveway.
What a garage website needs
- 01
A booking or call-back form
Registration, what needs doing and when suits them. Quicker for the customer, and fewer calls while your hands are in an engine.
- 02
Call and WhatsApp buttons
Big buttons at the top and bottom of every page, because a lot of garage enquiries start with a quick question.
- 03
Your years and your reviews
How long you've been trading and what customers say about you, right at the top. MH Auto's 40 years is the first thing visitors see.
- 04
A page for each service
MOTs, servicing, diagnostics, clutches, brakes and bodywork. Each one is a different search.
- 05
Secure and quick
A valid security certificate, so no browser warnings, and pages that load fast on a phone at the side of the road.
- 06
Hours and directions
Opening times, a map and how to find your unit, because industrial estates can be a maze.
Not sure what your site is missing? I'll go through it with you and tell you what I'd fix first.
A garage I rebuilt a website for

MH Auto Services
MH Auto Services has been repairing cars in Milton Keynes for 40 years, but its old website was flagged "Not secure" by browsers. I rebuilt it around how Martin actually runs the garage, secure and built for phones, with the 40 years front and centre.
“He listened very carefully to our approach to running our business, then translated that brilliantly into a website.”

Anthony Mason Upholstery
Out of an agency that kept charging, into a site and domain he controls.
Your Google profile is your forecourt
For "garage near me" and "MOT near me" searches, the map comes first, and it leans heavily on reviews and how close you are. Your main category and the services you list decide which searches you appear in.
I'll set your profile up around the work you want more of, and get a steady flow of reviews coming in after each job.
Categories I'd set up
- Auto repair shopMain
- Mechanic
- Car inspection station
- Auto body shop
- Tyre shop
Searches it should show up for
- garage near me
- MOT [your town]
- car service [your town]
- mechanic near me
- clutch replacement [your town]
Only the categories that match work you actually do. Picking extras to appear in more searches tends to backfire.

Book a free callHow much does a website for garages cost?
Every website is quoted to your business after a free call, so you know the exact price before anything starts. Websites start from £899, and most garages go for a premium site from £1,599, which adds your Google profile and pages for the towns you cover. You can pay half to start and half before launch, or spread the cost monthly.
How long does it take?
Most sites take 1 to 3 weeks from our first call. I'll give you a date on the call, and the thing that speeds it up most is getting your photos and prices over early.
Can customers book an MOT online?
Yes. If you use garage booking software, I'll link it in. If you don't, a booking request form works well: they pick a date, and you confirm it.
Can you fix the "Not secure" warning on my site?
Yes. It means the site has no valid security certificate. Sometimes that's a quick fix, and sometimes it's a sign the whole site needs replacing. I'll tell you which.
Should I put prices on my website?
For MOTs and fixed-price services, yes. For repairs, a guide or "from" price helps people feel comfortable picking up the phone.
How do I get more Google reviews?
Ask every customer, and make it easy. I set up a message that goes out after each job, plus a QR code for your counter.
Do you work with garages outside Milton Keynes?
Yes. MH Auto Services is in Milton Keynes, and I meet garages in person across Milton Keynes, Beds and Bucks. Further afield, we work over video calls.
