The start

Where Harsh and Jason started

Harsh has been fitting tyres around Aylesbury for four and a half years. He and Jason set up True Tyre Mobile Service together, and they answer the phone 24 hours a day.

They had the van, the kit and a 24/7 number, but no website. Someone with a flat tyre grabs their phone and searches Google, so unless a driver already had their number saved, they had no way of finding True Tyre.

The brief

What they asked for

Jason sent me another tyre fitter's website as the look they wanted: big bold headings, a dark top section and the phone number everywhere. I've blurred that business's details below.

I built that look in True Tyre's own blue, taken from their van and logo. The look was their choice, and my job was making sure the site gets found on Google and that anyone who lands on it can ring them in one tap.

The plan

Why the site has a page for every job and every town

When someone needs a tyre fitter, they search for the job and where they are, like "puncture repair Aylesbury" or "tyre fitter Wendover". Google then looks for the page that best matches those words.

A homepage that lists 11 services and 34 towns is a weak match for every one of those searches. A page all about puncture repair, or all about Wendover, is a strong match for that search. So True Tyre has a page for each service, each of the main towns they cover and the motorways around them.

  • Low-profile tyres
  • Locking wheel nut removal

A page for each area
  • Aylesbury, Wendover, Aston Clinton, Stoke Mandeville, Bierton, Waddesdon, Haddenham, Princes Risborough and Thame

Answers to common searches
  • How to find your tyre size

  • UK tread depth law
  • and five more guides
Getting in touch
  • Call, Book Now and WhatsApp on every page
  • Send my location on WhatsApp
  • A booking form for jobs that can wait
  • Reviews and real job photos

The pages all link to each other, so Google can find every one of them, and someone reading the Wendover page is one tap away from calling.

The website

Built for someone standing next to a flat tyre

Most people looking for a mobile tyre fitter are on their phone, and a lot of them are at the side of a road. So every page has a bar along the bottom of the screen with Emergency Call, Book Now and WhatsApp, and it stays there as they scroll.

I added a Send my location button too. It opens WhatsApp with a map pin of exactly where the customer is, which saves a lot of back and forth when someone is stuck on a road they don't know.

The What's happened? section on the homepage lets people tap their problem, like a blowout or a lost locking wheel nut key, and shows them what to do straight away, starting with how to stay safe. The call button sits right underneath.

Services

A page for each job they do

Each service page covers what's involved, what to do while you wait and the questions people ask before they ring. Lost locking wheel nut keys leave a lot of drivers stuck with a puncture, so locking wheel nut removal has a page of its own.

The motorways page covers the M40, M25, M1, M4 and the A-roads around Aylesbury, with the Highway Code steps for stopping safely and when to call 999 first.

Local SEO

A page for each town, written about that town

Google's spam policies call town pages that repeat the same text with the name swapped "doorway pages". Each of True Tyre's nine town pages talks about the place itself: the hill roads and flint lanes around Wendover, the A41 bypass at Aston Clinton, the A418 over the border to Thame.

The areas page lists all 34 towns they cover across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Berkshire, so nobody has to ring to ask.

Answers

The questions drivers search for, answered on the site

People search questions as well as services, like "can I drive on a flat tyre?" or "how far can I go on a space saver?". The site has eight guides answering questions like these, and 75 questions answered across its pages. Each one is another search True Tyre can show up for, and every guide starts with a short, direct answer, which is what Google and AI tools like ChatGPT tend to quote.

Jason asked for a tyre size guide, so the homepage explains the numbers on the side of a tyre with a diagram. When a customer reads their tyre size out on the phone, Harsh knows which tyre to bring.

Proof

Their own photos and an honest review

The jobs gallery uses their own photos from around Aylesbury: a shredded tyre replaced on a driveway, a BMW 3 Series, a Mercedes EQA and a Porsche Macan on low-profiles.

True Tyre is a new name, so it doesn't have its own Google reviews yet. Harsh has reviews from his work before the launch, so the site shows one of them word for word and says where it came from. I don't put made-up reviews on anyone's website. New ones get added as they come in.

Behind the scenes

The parts you don't see

  • Business details on every page, marked up so Google knows it's a tyre business in Aylesbury that's open 24 hours, what it does and where it goes.
  • Open to AI search, so tools like ChatGPT can read the site and recommend True Tyre.
  • Kept out of Google until launch day, then opened up automatically when the real address went live, so an unfinished preview never showed up in search.
  • Every call, WhatsApp, location share and booking counted, along with the page it came from. I send Harsh and Jason a report each month, so they can see what the website brings in.
  • Built without a page builder, so pages load quickly on a weak phone signal.
The result

Where it stands

True Tyre went live on 3 November 2026, four days after our kick-off call, with a page for every service, nine local towns, the motorways and the questions drivers search for.

Next I'm setting up their Google Business Profile, so they can show up in the map results as well as the normal ones.
